Not every kid gets to experience the joys and excitement of a bookmobile visit, but many kids raised in rural areas where the schools are small do. I loved the monthly visit of the bookmobile to our small school - the chance for a bookworm to find new stories, books by favorite authors, and, by request, the books needed for various school research assignments. Just stepping into the bookmobile felt like an adventure.
